Dynamic navigation allows real-time tracking of the drill tip during an implant procedure. An avatar of the drill is displayed onscreen, i.e., superimposed onto the pre-op CT scan.  This enables the dentist to “see” in real-time, the intrabony orientation and position of the drill during surgery, with no added radiation. Any lag in display will have an adverse affect on the dentist’s experience.
